  I love Dr. Hartke! She has saved two of my cats lives and is wonderful with my dog as well. She has a brilliant grasp of medicine, and more importantly she loves my animals.   THE MOST UNcompassionate vet I've ever encountered not to mention her lack of knowledge about dogs. I'm pretty sure they teach dog medicine at Texas A&M. I told her my 14yr old dog had just finished her heat cycle and she said "that's strange because older dogs stop having estrus." The front desk people and techs were nice enough but the vet herself is aweful. My little furbaby was old and sick and needed to be put to sleep. I was devastated; just looking for kindness through the process and the vet got PISSED when I said I didn't want to put my sick, geriatric baby through a bunch of tests or surgery. Word of mouth says this vet is ok with cats but don't take your dog there. I read the reviews before I took my pet here. I have gave her benefit of doubt. However... I can tell you.., the negative reviews are TRUE.
